i joined this forum on december and created a thread called "what made you like trains" and that thread became a very big HIT! but now i came with another question

WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

well im from the desert,pyramids and the sphyix and you guessed right .from
im from egypt!! the land of the pharaoh and the land of the old.but i was born here in NYC,but i visit egypt to see my dad,i talk egyption and english,and agiain i ask where are you from?

After college, joined US Air Force.... San Antonio, Amarillo, TX then California...Travis AFB.

After USAF, New Jersey. (family related location)

Then worked in New Jersey, job transfer to Houston, TX...then Chicago, IL...then California.

Retired in California, sons living in Charlotte, NC..(both sons job related location)....so we moved there and we're still in Charlotte, NC area .

It's been a good life.

well i was Born in a small town and i live in a small town,(enough mellencamp)..Make that a small town close to pittsburgh The town used to be a steel making town..till the 60's and we are still sufferning..a nearby town has no gas stations...or a mc donalds.(sarcasm) YOU GOTTA LOVE THE MON VALLEY(/sarcasm) I got my permit so it says all i need to say.

Born and raised in Peterborough in the upper mid north of south australia spent most of my Jnr years travelling around and working in the bush up north.

spent a few younger years also living in Dareton in NSW.

The actual village I live in, is known as "Fishbourne", or more specifically, the area termed as "New Fishbourne", which is around 1.79 miles west of Chichester, the location is also approximately 100 to 200 yards north of the nearest Railway station, "Fishbourne", which sees an hourly service provided by the Train Operating Company, "Southern".

In "New Fishbourne", you will find bus service no. 11 provided by Emsworth & District, the Fishnbourne Roman Palace, which is a major tourist attraction. A primary school and some pubs if you don't mind the walk.
