Wheelslip in DCC Mode

I just upgraded from Trainz: A New Era to Trainz 2019 Platinum. So far, I love the game, the graphics, and the textures. However, one issue I'm experiencing is that the driving wheels on the steam locomotives seem to slip or move faster than intended in DCC mode. I'm trying to get used to it, but I'd like to know if there is a way to resolve this issue since I find it somewhat problematic.

That's a problem, which never got fixed. In CAB mode the rotation of the drivers is correct, while in DCC/AI mode the drivers rotate at up to twice the correct speed. It's most obvious for steam locomotives, and is different for different locomotives.
