What's the worst payware locomotive you have ever owned?

For me, It was the Ferromex ES44AC from World of Trainz. Even in TRS2006 i knew it was junk, That thing never ran worth a hill of beans even with GateKeeper, dependencies and Start/Stop Locomotives, It wasted too much fuel and the locomotive derailed several times! Eventually it stopped working and i bought another unit, which runs like a Swiss watch at no charge!

Do you realize how disrespectful you sound right now? First off NEVER bash anyone's content publicly!!!! Phil went through hell to create those locomotives. And they are very good. Maybe of you don't like the dependencies or features then don't buy it or just do like me and change them. And there are settings you can change in surveyor mode. I LOVE his engines and maybe you're just not doing something right. I'd like for him to update his locos but these are old engines but are still DAMN good. I've spent over $100 on his content. The content is valued at $200+ since people charge mostly $10+ on Payware. And depending on the fuel consumption settings, that could be your problem. I know how to operate his engines like I know the palm of my hand. It's second nature. I'm the only one egos been making any recent purchase over there. But publicly criticizing isn't going do help for you. And if it doesn't amount to a hill of beans then why waste time ranting??!!

READ IT THOROUGHLY. And don't be afraid to ask questions.

I've got to agree with you there Kris - if an issue crops up relating to a user's content, it's best to contact them privately, either by email or PM. I definetely would not be happy if people started bashing what I provide publically (although I do welcome constuctive comments).

P.S. Congratulations on having 2001 posts - another 11 and it will be the same as the current year.

Oh yeah I hadn't thought about that. I wonder if I set the record yet? Joined in 2009 but didn't come here until 2010.

It is very annoying to have someone bag you out over your hard work - happened to me just yesterday to me on these forums over a fault that was totally out of my hands

Not sure on that one - given what you currently do, it is a record in itself. I know that Euphod currently holds a record for having the highest posts, but I know he's been here since before 2006 (and he would have even more if it was not for the events in 2005/6 where the forums crashed).

I think this nonsense needs to be erased from the forum immediately before it causes unnecessary harm and upset.
Was somebody high on sugar candy last night?

At what point did this thread seem like a good idea? Please think before you post. Most creators are proud of their achievements, and don't appreciate anyone bagging their content or anyone else's. Few creators mind a bit of constructive criticism, especially if discussed in private, but this is beyond the pale - it offends ALL content creators, freeware and payware.

Thread closed. This topic really isn't suitable, and can cause creators to leave, or to not release further content. Constructive criticism is perfectly acceptable, however simply saying an asset is the 'worst' you have is not appropriate.
