What's on the Roundel?

Hi.
Does anyone know what is written on the LU roundel sign on the side of a LU battery loco? I'm guessing at "Underground", but I'd like to know for sure. I'm trying to get the last version of the Battery Loco finished and uploaded so I can embark on some other equally crazed project.

Thanks for the suggestion, actually DistrictDave's is a much better site for technical info. This one seems to be more about the social side of the underground.
