What is with CMP?

I got CMP to work one time today . Now when I try to launch it I hear the "gears" but nothing on the screen. When I do get it to open it only does so partially if I do alt, ctr. del it reads " not responding" all other things work ok.

Sometimes all it needs is an internet connection and often a good sulk. Don't know why - in this relationship CMP is definately in control, so we just have to bend to it's whims.

Anyway, it's probably trying to do something to the Trainz Asset Database (sometimes it tells you this, but not always), and this is where Windows Task Manager isn't too helpful because it isn't responding to you - it is doing something though and if you let it finish then it'll behave better.

My CMP did exactly the same in the last week closed a route to check something & stayed like that for about 3 days before it came back to life you just have to wait.Usually if the gears are turning or you see " not responding " it's still working in the background.Check task manager to check it's memory & cpu usage.

Like BidMod said CMP wears the pants round .
