What is an album?

In the community dropdown, there is a feature named Albums. Right now it only announces:
"No albums have been updated recently."

How and where is that done?
Why would you want to do it? Are the Freeware Announcements and Screenshots sections not enough or is this something completely different?

Well, this puzzled me too and after some searching the only reference to Albums I found in the faq, scroll down to Albums & Pictures.
It seems this feature isn't activated for us mere mortals, since the link mentioned there in the control panel isn't available, at least over here. :hehe:

Glad you raise it Jananton, I didn't weant to appear ehrm, lost. Been in your great city twice (and Apeldorn and Het Loo Palace) and hope to be so again.

Greetings from nighttime Glasgow!

I kinda liked "Dark Side of the Moon", but it's a pretty obscure album. You may not have heard of it...:D

Looks like "articles" are not enabled either. They look like they could be useful for mini tutorials that may not be suitable for the N3V WiKi.

I wonder who we would ask to have something enabled.

My brother was a Pink Floyd fan but I prefer The Eagles. :hehe:

Hmm, Pink Floyd, that brings up memories. I liked Atom Heart Mother, specially the part that started with baking an egg. :hehe:

I've had a look at articles too. Those would indeed be nice for describing techniques for content creation with for instance blender.
One of the reasons to become a member of the blenderheads group was to see if articles would be a part of the group system and would become available there, but no such luck. ;)

Greetings from sunny Amsterdam,

Jan
