What are these called.?.

the age of the train
Hello to all who can help,

I obtained the screenshot from the UK Screenshots thread, the picture below was made by Nexusdj, I was just wondering what are the two brown wagons in the sidings called, and does anyone know what to type in to the DLS to get them...

Schenker1x1024-1.jpg

I have seen something similar to the above from the RTS website called Cargo Waggons which are very well made, but they are European and are far too high and tower over the British locos. However the ones in the screenshot above seem to be the same height as the UK rolling stock and locos.

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help...

I done a bit of delving and they look very similar to the "VGA Covered Goods Wagons".

To those of you who were not too sure what they were, like me, here is the information...

Now the question is were to find them, if anyone knows, please let me know, I'm off now on a treasure hunt to find some VGA Covered Goods Wagons.

I may be some time...

Hi Airtime

Not sure if they are exactly what you're looking for, but try a search as "Transwaggon" which are by Skupa. They look similar to what you are looking for. Also the "VDA" wagons are similar.

Hope this helps:)

Thank you Chris for your reply,

I'll definitly give them a go, anything similar to the above will be brilliant, I'll also do a search for VDA as well...

I see them all the time on the railways, but I have no idea what they are...

Many thanks once again Chris, your a star

Thank you Dave for the information,

Very much appreciated, I've been after these for ages, as I see them everywhere on the rail network, but didn't know what they would be called on the Download station.

I was typing in closed box wagon, but sometimes getting "No Downloads Found" or at other times I was getting the early small box versions from the 50's and 60's.

Thank you once again for coming to the rescue
