What about train database update??

I now am now having a problem with trainz wanting to check my database.
"4 TIMES THIS WEEK"

This takes hours and hours and nothing can be done about it.
I have no problems with my 2010 edition running anything that I have in my computer. This stupid add on is driving me nuts.
If it's not broken why try to fix it!
I may have some broken assets in here 180,000 files or more that I have downloaded over many years. But this database check I'm sure never fixes any of them so why tie up my computer for hours Auran.
Can we shut this feature off or dump it???

By any chance, are you shutting your system down as soon as Trainz itself closes?

If you are - Stop, and wait a few minutes for TADDaemon to finish it's work.

Failure to do that will result in a database update/repair the next time you run it.

If you are not sure when TADDaemon has finished, you can make it visible by doing the following process:

1.Click Options on the Launcher.
2.Click Developer. (It may have the word 'Options' after it)
3.Click in the second tickbox (the one labelled 'show database process windows'), then click OK.

Ya i found dont try to edit any built in content and open any new routes ya download in compad mode those to "donts" like to flare up the rebuild ass thingy and really burns me up also holdin your comp hostage for no reason for hours on end and kinda funny 180k almost in assets it scans but when ya check downloaded content it averages around 25k so it seems it scans the entire DLS too? (links too)

I contacted Google to see if they had a translator for the msg. Sadly they were just as perplexed. Guess I will gradually be left out of conversations unless I buy one of those expensive (monthly) walkie-talkies (phones) to practice this txting stuff and watch the God Father more often..

I may be guilty of closing down to fast. I may have done so last night because I'm being held hostage again this morning. My puter is checking the database again:'(
I would like to know who put this feature into trainz(&^$$
I wish he would have also put a delete this feature into as well.
I don't want to become a computer geek I just want to play the game.
If I have any assets that wont load I just don't use them!!!
Simple solution
Oh well just 185,000 more files to check again since yesterday.
Progress!!!

Theyre ya go sir and aint this about one for luck I decided to go to the DLS see some new items up and low and behold I click an item and CMP searching for user id etc and I know if I close the cmp the asset database will want to scan again go figure.....
So that 3 things not to do in 2010.....as the list growssss lol
