Well, Trainz is still around.

How could we forget you, you demanded that your content be removed from the DLS, not a forgettable action. Why have you come back? Were you mistaken in leaving or are you tempted by TS2009?

Anyway, welcome back.

Welcome Welcome.
Will always remember as you were one of the originals. Still use your creations in my routes.
Auran could surely use your help these days.
Lost.
Regards Peter Fry.

And it was put back on once everything was sorted out wasn't it...
I stopped back by mainly because I was bored of WoW and my mate Ian (Speic) offered to send me TRS2009. (Still waiting)

Welcome back. What have you been up to in the last year or two?

Cheerio John

The last year or two? I have been out of Trainz for 5 years.

I am now officially (have been for 3 years) 'involuntarily' 'retired' and on a fixed state pension (due to permanent illness). So I'm pretty bored sitting at this thing 18 hrs a day. (Even WoW gets boring that long)

Was looking through my old stuff, looking for something to do and came across "TRS2004" (which I had a layout in) 'Content Creation Art Source' and 'Paint Shed' :)

Even found my "TRS2004 Content Creators" Sweat/T-Shirt!

We will see how the finances are and maybe get into it ago. Seems there is also a few sims Auran is selling that look interesting. (Was annoyed RRT2 and TTD won't run under XP, (FORGET 'Vista' or Win7)

Might apply for beta if I can swing the purchase, money not good here since the 'retirement'
Cheers

No you don't need to have TS2009 to be a beta tester:

Welcome back.:)

I beg to differ...https://www.auran.com/BetaTesters/betasignup.php (only link provided)

In order to signup to Beta Test Trainz Simulator 2009, you are required to have a Retail TS2009 Serial Number registered in your Planet Auran profile

You can add your Serial Number HERE

Well I'll be damned! How the hell are ya?

Dave

Guess there are still a lot of the 'old engineers' around :)
I remember trees :)

Wonder how Trainz2009 will work on a 3.2GHZ ASUS DUAL/SLI Geforce EN8800GT TOP Video with 4GB Ram. A far cry from the 1GHZ Geforce 2400 I was running in Trs2004.

AS with many others posting here, I also remember you :) .

Great to see you again Overlord, Welcome back.

Craig
:):):)

I looked up my old forums name (OverlordNZ) to see if anyone still knew.
I outgrew the 'Overlord' phase quite awhile ago. most know me now as GreybeardNZ. But I will keep Overlord here as not to confuse :)
I might be able to get back into it but the exchange rate to US$ is ridiculous here (48 cents) costs more than double for anything in USA $

TRS2009 is about $65 NZ

If this keeps up we should open an oldies branchline. :hehe: Welcome back on board. Much has changed and much is still the same. :)

Yes Joe, some of us only just remember you, and your assets have clicked up a few million on the DLS since you've been gone, nice to see you back posting again anyway, there are quite a few veterans still poking around, Euphod, Drucifer, Meridious, John Whelan, Dave Drake, Narrowguage, Muliebuck, Colhad, NormP, Sir Gibby, and a few others, but, due to economic developments, many of the old staff from Auran have now gone, Bloodnok is still about somewhere.

Hope you keep with us for the time being.

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

Welcome back. I was running RRT2 on xp pro. Needed a run in compatability mode file as I remember. I also have Sid Meier's Railroads, and RRT3 which I don't like as well.
