I know what you mean. According to the date I last visited when I was 11yrs old....That's 39 yrs ago:confused:

The time at the bottom of the screen is also 18 hrs GMT time adrift. Will any posts that have been submitted since last night still be put in their rightful place.

According to the forum calendar, now it's January 1st, 1970... it's great to be just 9 years old...but I don't remember PCs or the Internet back in the '70s:hehe: .

Hehe... I was only 9 when the forums started. The server must be taking up a whole room for the disk drives. I wonder what the DLS server looks like!

Yeah and Adam has not even posted yet, he posted at 4.00pm today (Brisbane time), which is 5.00pm Australian Daylight saving time :hehe: where I live.

Let me be the first to post a conspiracy theory.

I think it was part of a cunning plan on Auran's part to give them more time to debug TRS2009. I hope it worked !

Anyway, I'm glad to be back from temporary suspension in time at 1st Jan 1970.

The truth is Auran moved all the Trainz servers to rack housed in down town Hobart over night, The servers just took on the local time.

;) ;)
 
I apparently last visted almost 29 and a half years before I was born...

Something is definitely up with their server

I can recall the first tentative steps in rail simulation when pc's started taking over from machines like Atari (which I thought brillian!) and Amiga. Watching one in a store it was so rudiemtary and crude by today;s effrots so Trainz wouldn't have been so appealing!
