I was messing around with my PS3 remote and I connected it to my computer (So It could charge) the weird thing was When I loaded up A map on TC I was trying to use my raildriver but it wouldn't work so I was trying to figure out what was wrong so as I was trying to figure out what was going on I accidentally dropped my PS3 controller on the floor and it landed on the analog stick (the right one) and the Train started moving it was so cool Square was the Brake X was the Horn, Triangle was to put the train on Auto, and circle was to turn on the lights L1 was to dim the lights, R1 Was the Pantos, L2 was to Decouple, R2 was to switch trains. It was awesome

Remote controlled trains on Trainz? I've gotta take a look at this, as soon as the moving company delivers the rest of my stuff.

I tried using the controller for my PS3 for anything on the computer but it wouldn't work...
you need special Drivers that are from a old joystick you had (what I was reading on Youtube because that how it worked for me when I take a break from trainz and play Doom) and the PS3 Controller should instantly download them

I have a joystick with the drivers installed but it doesn't work...

Verry interesting Briana.
Since you got it to work, we are counting on you to figure out how/why.
Well getting it to work on your computer is easy getting it to work in trainz is a different mystery because this is the first time it worked out of 3 tries

I figured out how the PS3 was able to drive the Acela and all the other trains. It was because when I first hooked up my controller to my computer the controller was automatically set to Keyboard controls the two axis joysticks (Analog sticks) some of the buttons were set to the key controls to trainz. MYTHBUSTED!:hehe:

a Add on note. PS3 controllers will work on some computers automatically and for some it doesn't you need this software for it its called PS3 CONTROLLER CONNECT For dualShocks and for six axis you need "Sixaxisdriver"

well it was worth a try......... however..... using this concept, in theory..... could one use electrical hardware to build a console that interacts withat the controls of the game?
