That's great, but what does the title mean ?
As this route runs to the west country in England and is also the second section maybe you can now work it out....:hehe:
However, I shall explain : The real West Coast Line runs to the Midlands and eventually to the west side of Scotland, I used the wcl bit just to give the route a title and couldn't think of anything more suitable.
The first section called WCL1 starts at Paddington and runs to well past Theale, but mainly stops at Reading which includes the large station and extensive MPD.
This second section is quite finished because my partner passed away while I was working on it and so far I haven't been able to return to it - maybe one day I will, who knows.
It runs and can be merged from where the first section ended and is about 1/3rd fully scenic, which includes the river kennet and the Kennet canal that runs alongside the railway line, hence the additional bits to the titlw, Part_Done.
Both are on DEM's, but I am told by those who have merged both that there is a height difference at the join. Goodness knows why this should be, the person who created the maps made a good job and tried extrememly hard to get things right. I suggest that by grading down at the end of section 1 and grading up at the start of section 2 a gentle hill could be made across the boards and so link more successfully.
Both parts do need a high end PC, there is a lot of scenery on them and they are as accurate as I could make them appear, content allowing and by using Google Earth on a second PC.
However, by reducing both draw distances, the Detail level and adding up to full Daytime fog better PC speeds can be achieved.
Hope that helps.
