Hi .. I have often wondered and now i put it to everyone here ... my question is ;

Q: WHY IS IT THAT WHEN EVER I GO TO CHANGE MY WATER FROM GLASSY TO ROUGH IT IS ONLY SLIGHTLY RIPPLY? AND IS THERE A WAY TO CHANGE IT IT SO THAT WHEN I CHOOSE A SETTING IT DOES EXACTLY WHAT I WANT IT TO DO?

i currently have trs2009 installed and would love to see th water do exactly what i set it to do.

I await your responses as i would love to get this answered

At risk of sounding snippy; what is it, exactly, that you want it to do?
What is your description of rough water?

You didn't say, and my expectation of what rough water is may not be, and probably isn't, the same as another person's expectation.

And how does that relate to the RAM required to deliver on that expectation?

i forgot to mention that when i change the settings in surveyor mode to rough water ... i expected to see rough water ... not calm water ... lol

I have to agree with you Robin that the rough water in Trainz doesn't look evey close to what I would define as "rough." I have '06, not '09, but the rough water setting is such that you have to change the angle to almost ground level to even see the ripples in the water.

You might try downloading "veryroughwater", kuid 206477:1010. I can't say it's better yet, as I am downloading it as I type.

The author of kuid:206477:1010 named it right, very rough water has waves about 10 meters high and churns the water so hard it goes over the edges.
