Hey all Ive finally gotten down to modeling Walts 1/8th scale railway that he had at his home in Holmby Hills. Its taken alot of research to make it as close as possible to the real thing. Pics coming soon!

Looks good but are you going for realistic scale or the scale of the original?

It's looking good though, the gap in the trestle is a bit wider than the original though.

Thanks for the feedback .. It's at about 1/2 scale .. I've worked on the trestle a bit and made some improvements on it .. I found a blueprint of the layout also I spoke with Michael Broggie to get some technical info on it as well
Just curious, the tunnel didn't double end near the same entry point and the only diamond was a Walt's Barn?
I need to look at my copy of the book a bit more then.

Yes they were 2 Very Short Tunnels into Yensid Valley and they were close to another

Im actually thinking of redoing it in Narrow Gauge.. Found better locomotives that look close to the Lily Belle as well More attn to detail

How is the progress going on this route. I really like what I seen so far.
The route is complete actually. I just need to reskin some stuff , need help doing it
