Hey all Ive finally gotten down to modeling Walts 1/8th scale railway that he had at his home in Holmby Hills. Its taken alot of research to make it as close as possible to the real thing. Pics coming soon!

Cool!!! I've read about it before. Have fun building it!:) (If you build the Lilly Belle and/or Walt Disney World coaches for the route, I would like them)

Looks good but are you going for realistic scale or the scale of the original?

This might help:

It's looking good though, the gap in the trestle is a bit wider than the original though.

Thanks for the feedback .. It's at about 1/2 scale .. I've worked on the trestle a bit and made some improvements on it .. I found a blueprint of the layout also I spoke with Michael Broggie to get some technical info on it as well

It appears that the two bridges / flyovers west of "Yensid Valley" were more like very short tunnels. At least one was, according to pictures.

Plussing it

Im actually thinking of redoing it in Narrow Gauge.. Found better locomotives that look close to the Lily Belle as well More attn to detail

More Screenshots now in narrow gauge
