Vista and Trainz 2004

hello i have got trainz 2004 passenger edition and it works great on vista the only problem is that the more detailed locomotives are missing part or whole of the body, E.G. The Big Boy lost his boiler and the DD40X is one big shadow
is this a problem that can be solved?

I'm also running TRS 2004 in vista but without the missing stuff your finding all my trainz files are outside the program folder and installed using the run as administrator by right clicking when first opening the installation file. This may be the cause of your problem but this was the only way I could get trs 2004 running in the first place. I am missing the front panel off of some HSTs I've downloaded but thats all. I may have some similar problems so can anyone help

Watch out for the Antivirus 2009 virus I got it while downloading some trainz stuff from some site (cant remember which one, not the DLS though.) I'm having severe trouble removing it, and it is screwing my pc up.

It gives you info on installing 04 in Vista, what to do as well as info on how to run 04 and what problems I found out about and how to resolve them ,see link to thread below this will bring you to page 1 so you need to go to page 2 to see it
