VE199 and MOVehicleSpec Errors

On two assets I created, both of them show up with errors that show up like this:
- <kuid:1043050:100910> : MOVehicleSpec::LinkSpecs> train vehicle is unable to load required engine <NULL>
- <kuid:1043050:100910> : VE199: Asset <kuid:1043050:100910> failed to load. Unloading resources.
I have no idea how to fix either of them, so could anyone give me tips for how to fix them?

I am not a locomotive creator, but the error message suggests that there is something wrong with the engine spec for the loco (assuming it's a loco you have created, but you have told us almost nothing so it's a guess). Perhaps you have forgotten to supply the kuid reference to an engine spec asset (which would explain the <NULL>), or maybe there is something invalid about the engine spec you have supplied.

I hope you can present some more info here about what you're trying to do, otherwise you probably won't get much assistance.

This looks like no enginespec is indicated? The second one just seems to indicate it can't load the loco because the enginespec is missing.

I believe that was the issue as the original config I used didn't include an enginespec slot, so cheers
