Just returned from a fun 5 week summer vacation late yesterday. Chief Mate and I had a grand time; I even managed to coax her to a battlefeild (Gettysburg) and a few railroad sites which included Steamtown in Scranton, PA. I have over a hundred pix from Steamtown, including the restoration work on B&M's #3713, Pacific, which used to reside outside of the Boston Museum of Science. #3717 is presently in several hundrd parts, but the National Park Service tour guide assured me she will steam again; reassuring news for fans of the grand old lady!
Some pix were taken in dim light in the erecting shop, requiring some photo-editing work, so it will be a day or two before I will post them. I also caught a 5 unit NS freight lash-up at the little town of Shenandoah, in Virginia.
Iwill post the pix as an album with a single link in the Prototype Forum, soon.
