Using Schedule Library - Tips

I have been looking at ways to reduce the number of commands to issue a driver, in order for him/her to follow a route.
Using Brummfondel's "Schedule Library", and the associated command "Copy command", you can build a library of part routes, whole routes, stops and other commands, and call them with the "copy command - insert" in the drivers routine. Both of these scripts must be enabled in the driver commands and main options menu for the session.

All you need is a naming convention for you to determine what you are calling with the copy command-insert.

In the Library, you can construct part route Schedules, and group them either by direction or speed, naming them accordingly. You can then build whole route schedules, by calling the part route schedules in the library into a new schedule. Here is where it is important to get the naming convention right, otherwise when you go to a driver, and select the copy commands-to, you will be overwhelmed by the options.

In effect you can give a driver a whole route schedule already prepared, or select from a number of part schedules in order. It is important to use the "insert" option otherwise the route goes to pot!

In a best case scenario (session) I can issue 2 schedule commands and a repeat, and the train can run all day. Very tidy I thought! Good one Brummfondel!
