I still run 2006 and create my imaginary rail equipment in paint shed 2006.
next I open the new equipment in 'open for edit' making it easy to find.
Next I import it in 2009 where it is quickly found in the edit folder of 2006.
That is a quick and simple fix for 2009. Thanks to all who wrote on my first
