usb headset

Hi All,
Have been using an ordinary headset with 2 plugs,not bad but decided to splash out and buy a usb headset but cannot get it to work with Trainz.
I had the same problem with the WOW game but changed a setting in the game and all was well so I thought I could do the same in Trainz but cannot find anything to changed.
Can anyone help me please.

You may need to set your default audio device to the USB device after you connect it. To do this, click Start > Control Panel > Sound and Audio devices, then click audio and select the default audio device from the drop down list. You may get a entry saying USB something or other.
