urgent help base maps

hi i cant load my jpeg on to my base map a when i load it it is white or gray when i load trainz i save my black and whit jpeg 1023x1023 in to the base map file then delete the base map jpeg what am i doing wrong please help

Try saving the jpeg as 1024x1024

yes even when i save them as 1024x1024 it sill does the same will it work with black&whit jpeg

Don't delete the basemap jpeg. Save the new image as the basemap image. It will replace the default picture with your new image. If the new image doesn't have the same name as the file used for the texture, the basemap won't be able to find it.
