I've made some modifications to some whistle signs (reached out to the originators, but never heard back). I combined the horn sequencer to the Whistle/Xing primary script so you don't need the sign PLUS the horn sequencer trigger. I also made some changes to the sequencer so the horn plays much smoother. Additionally, I added a speed check so if the train is moving at a slower speed, the time the sequencer starts will be adjusted. For example, just getting started or running under yellow or slowing down for the next speed limit. The recommended distance placements are in the descriptions. I did stop at 70 mph, so those of you running faster trains will need to adjust accordingly.

Whistle Sign w/horn sequencer <kuid:324956:101454>

Enjoy,

One statement in your post concerns me.

(reached out to the originators, but never heard back)

Unless the config.txt files of the original assets contains permission for modifications and uploads, then you DO NOT have permission to upload them to the DLS or any other site. "Not hearing back" is not permission to copy and upload.

The only restrictions were not to sell the asset. I was reaching out to the individuals as a curtesy.

Excellent then. It would also be a courtesy to name the original creators in your assets description tags, even if they did not request that.

Which I certainly did as part of the description:

The script has been modified for timing and horn sounds by Chili46.
Thanks to Joe McGuire for the original work and nysvrwx for the script template.
