Uploaded content not appearing

I have to ask this question, I have done so on the content section but have no replies as to how to progress further.

I uploaded an asset to Auran 2 days ago but it seems to have vanished into the blue, or rather black hole in this case.
I think it is usual for an upload to appear in the Unprocessed section within a day, so something is amiss.
A second upload has also gone missing.

Can anybody help me with this, preferably somebody at Auran who deal with it as it's very frustrating. But any suggestions regarding getting in touch with Auran would help, the so-called Helpdesk has no section for posting an mail or anything else for that matter.

EDIT:- Just worked out how to send a Ticket....

I hope you get this sorted soon as I am looking forward to downloading your object creations.

They look good to me and you may be assured that I for one will be putting some in the ECML route (my cloned version) for my enjoyment.

Hi angelah that does does seem strange in the last two days including today I have submitted content and it has been approved with no problems.
I upload the Cdps via my profile/ content / upload and usually I send it to the preview option .
In both cases I had an e-mail from Auran telling me the content had been approved .

But I have also had one that had been refused owing to no screen shot I have also been able to contact helpdesk wih no problems and got a reply .

However the reply`s do not get sent to my e-mail .
I have to log into helpdesk and view my tickets to see if there has been a reply.

This is what you need to do go to helpdesk make sure you are logged in then select submit ticket.

Normally since there are no department for submitting up load or other problems to I select Planet Auran & Account
Then click next you will see a box
general information / priority set this to high ,just under that is the main subject box.
Inout your problem with as much info as possible then click onto submit at the bottom of the page.
You will have to go back to helpdesk to see if there has been any replies

If you cant get an answer let me know and I will do a ticket for you but I will need to know what items you submitted and what the kuid numbers were ect.,
 
Hi' all,
Could it be that older builds are subject to scrutiny i.e.:- 2004 2006 where as 2009 and 2010 get a clean bill of health and are passed strait through because of tighter regulations?
 
Check that your e-mail is correct in your profile, and that you haven't got anything (like a spam filter) stopping it. I have a hotmail account I use for Trainz correspondence, and I've never had a problem with Auran e-mails getting through to that.

I have uploaded a total of 14 new items (2004) in the last two days, on three different occasions, had an almost immediate response by e-mail, ie. evening after submitting during the afternoon, and they all became available within the promised six hours. However, I did experience your problem earlier in the year, re-submitted without making any alterations, and the second or third time all was OK.

Sorry, Angelah, this doesn't solve your problem but it does seem to suggest that 2004 items are not necessarily delayed.

Thanks to all you good folk,
I have managed to get a ticket up. I thought I was logged in, but wasn't.... once I got that sorted out the system worked.
It is surprising that there is such a limited amount of choices and none seem to correspond to my problem, which is quite a common one as very many people upload content.
So I await developments.

I will check my email, although I am not sure where I would find this phantom blocker mentioned. I rarely get mail from auran, sometime when I sent a route up, sometimes not.

Saga continues

I got all 8 assets up and showing in the unprocessed area this morning. Now they have vanished again and cannot be found anywhere. Also my Content count has not gone up, it still remains at the number of routes I uploaded so the fact that the new ones have gone does not mean they have been added to the existing count.

So where have they all gone? A great mystery. I have had no word from Auran and yes, I have checked my mail address is correct. It might be better if they just told me they were a load of rubbish and not to bother any more.... at least I would know where I was going.

So after such relief this morning seeing all 8 actually listed - not zilch!

Very disappointing.
