upgrade or stand alone 2010ee

Just curious if alot of you who had older versions of trainz upgraded or used 2010ee as a stand alone.
Im not sure if i should install 2010 as a stand alone. Because i don't know if i upgrade it from 2009. Would i be able to use all the items i downloaded for 2009 in 2010?
Should i even load my copy of 2004? The only version i had before today was 2009.
While im waiting for some helpful answers, im gonna do a search, also on the same question.
I just received my copy of 2010ee, and a free copy of 2004, in the mail. I was surprised i receive the free copy, and it arrived in about a week after i ordered it.

2010 Stand alone

Hi there,
There are plenty of threads about your question.I personally used the stand alone version and have had no problems.People a lot more knowledgeable than me say there are a lot of things to be sorted out, my advice is to run 2010 on its own for the time being.
