Update to DVD

I recently discovered that a DVD copy of Trainz 2006 exists.
The disk has SP1 incorporated and I imagine the updated utility executable.
If I buy such a copy, may I use my existing registration when I install it?
I am running TRS 2006 and have installed SP1 + the utility update.

It will come with a new serial number, which you will have to register with your planet auran account. Your current serial number is only valid for the version you presently have (I take it it's the four or five CD version?)

Use the new serial number to install, but your current username and password.
You can add the new serial to your existing username in your Planet Auran profile.

I have the multi CD version and must re-install SP1 if the need to re-install should occur. The DVD should make the process much easier. It has not crashed completely yet, seems to be quite stable, but I figure I will prepare for the occasion.
Now I understand that I can have multiple copies of different sn on the same registration, ID and password.
