UP 844 trip

Just to let you guys know that UP 844 is comming to Texas tommaro (If not here already). Im letting you fellow Texans know this and she will be in FT.Worth by 4pm tommaro. Im getting out of school early to go see it come through my town and chase it to FT.Worth. For more info just go to the UP website and look under "Steam" I think .

Im just realy excited and just wanted to let those of you who dont know know.:udrool:

i personaly have ridden behind this loco and the sp4449 in a double header and it was cool to be behind 2 steamers. if you can get a ride behind this loco, it is a great experience. i only wish they'ed run them here in washington. good luck

Well, here's my report.

Got out of school early(thank you dad!) went north to Denton, TX where it was suppost to be. She was late. So we drove east along the tracks till we got just south of Whitesboro TX. Caught up with her. Iv never seen an (E-F-3 I think?) in my life, let alone running at 60 mph!!! Chased her back to denton, where traffic and one wrong turn basicly ended My dad, my best friends, and I chase. Plannin on seein it tommaro leavin from FT.Worth.

What a diffrence 1 hour makes when it mean rush hour or not:'(

Thanks! The is with the new program I got last night. Free too! Its wonderfull, if only there was a way to get the sound from blowin the mic so much...

-u could try to put a piece of foam or something over the mic. like when ur watching the news they have some kinda foam cover there mics!

yup, its on Up's website. or a clip of it i think. they were talking about maintenance on it if i remember correctly!
