unable to view screenshots and...

I took some screen shots and went to go view them. it said what would you like to open them with? i accidentally chose Kodak picture viewer. is there any other program i have or do i need to download one?




i have been looking in the download station for Union Pacific's MoPac Heritage unit for download wondering if its available yet. is it?...

thanks for the update. i was planning to take picture with my camara, upload it on to Kodak easyshare, and then print it to show a couple of train friends and also put it on the screenshots here. would that work too.

my computer also says the files may be damaged so i deleted them.

You'll find it easier to take screenshots directly from your pc using Irfanview.

Open Up irfanview

Go To "OPTIONS"

Select "Capture Screenview"

You will see a dialogue box - chose "Whole Desktop Area" for full screen shot.

Un-select "show mouse cursor" if you don't want it.

Choose "Save Captured Image As File" to automatically save your screenshots and you can select the directory you want (I choose c:\sterrett)

The Hot Key is set by default to "CTRL +F11".

Click "Start"

Open Up Trainz (or any other application) and Go Play!

Every time you press CTRL + F11 you will have a new screenshot saved in jpg format which you can share with your friends!

When you press printscreen in Trainz, it saves an image file in the Trainz / Screenshots folder. The files are TGA images which IrfanView can open. Resize to make them smaller and SaveAs jpg files if you want to post pictures or share them.

By far the easiest way to save screenshots, is to press the Print Screen button. That shot will be saved in your TRS directory in a folder called ScreenShots. The pic will be in .tga format, which IrfanView will open no problems. If you want to share the picture, IrfanView will convert the format to any or all the popular formats.

thanks that helps with part one: getting them saved and printed. now how do i post them on the screenshots page for the steam page?

if you have TRS06 the photos are on highland valley and i am modifing it to make it a lot bigger but 1/3 the size of Murchison. it will be themed N&W but if you download it you can put your own locos on it.
