Unable to remove asset?

Has anyone else come across this? I placed a Station on a pallet, decided I didn't want it and took it back off. The track from the station "stuck" to the pallet and can't be deleted. (see image) Have tried deleting that entire pallet, the asset still shows floating in air.

The 2nd image (JJS Spline Eraser) I have no idea how that got there, it just showed up when I opened my route. Again, unable to remove/delete. If I delete the entire pallet, it's still there floating in air.

When I view the route in CM, list dependencies, the spline eraser is listed, but not the station.

ANy ideas on how to remove these items?

Copy a blank area of base board tick all the options other than height and paste over the offending objects, that should get rid of them.
