UMR same problem different routes.

Its probably a simple problem, But I'm not getting it.

On several UMR routes, the signal lights remain dark. The trains stop with a message "line ahead is unsignaled". I go up to the next signal and its dark like it has no power.
The trains getting stopped are the coal trains that just finished dumping coal at the power plants so I don't think that's the problem.

I thought it might have been a missing dependency with the searchlight signals so on a whim I replaced several with SafeTran Dwarfs. They too are dark at those junctions.

so...

What gives?

No takers? I was sure it would be an easy fix.
I'm new to Trainz so I may be asking wrong. Is it normal for a signal to remain dark (unlighted?) as a train approaches? What would a missing dependancy look like?
I seems like its only the various UMR (any version) routes and sessions that are affected.
What else should I be asking?
From what I can tell it is only the searchlight signals, but replacing them with a similar one made no difference.

if i recall correctly the search lights and safetrans., are now user configured I havent actually used em yet., I been using the earlier versions and had no problems of such with the UMR ROUTE?

Umm. OK, I dont know how I would control all these. Here is a screen shot if it comes in ok, its from the UMR TS12 Summer Base Session. Its just as the session starts with the first coal train coming out from unloading at the power station. You can see the dark lights just ahaed.

sorry i had to use links, didnt see how to upload a jpg directly...

I am also having the same problem. All three trains have come to a stop at red signals which never change. I would appreciate any help I can get with the problems of dark signals and red lights not turning green or yellow. This is a great route. Also having the same problems on the Fall and Winter versions of the route.

Its kind of odd, but I did a wee bit of testing and found that if I replace one of the "faulty" searchlight signals with a similar safetrans signal dwarf, that light also remained dark. But if I replaced with a plain signal dwarf and the "left" searchlights with signal dwarf LHS then it all seemed to be working again, it worked fine. That doesnt really help unlesss you only plan to operate in single mode..... but it does begin to be usable.

If you plan to do a search and replace, try it in the session and rename it first so that you dont screw up the originals.....

Just looked at the screenshots, the signal in the nearer shot should be a 04 (single lens) not an 06.
As far as I know the 06's and 08's control junction directions.

I finally got everything working properly. What I had to do was uncommit all the searchlight signals and then commit them again. After I did this everything worked properly. No more dark signals and all other signals then worked properly.
