Uk tracks and tank steam engines?

Hey,

It's a long story but i cant seem to get the DLS to work at all

So the only times i can add new content to my routes is from sites which have direct links to the CMP. files.

I was wondering if there were and UK tracks and tank engines available on independent sites or if someone could send me the CMP. files instead of directing me to the DLS.

I was hoping to make a simple steam based UK route soon but the current TRS2006 content leaves a lot to be desired.

I just tried downloading things from the DLS but the CMP says the server is full please try again later.. but it's never said any different?!
Oh Auran I'm so glad i bought a first class ticket -.- (17 days left now, as if that changes anything -.-)

But when i try to download files from the DLS the CMP says something like 'the server is full at the moment, please try again later'

i cant be more specific at the moment as now the content manager freezes when opening -.- now i'll have to re-install the game.. again..

Dan,

Check your settings within CMP, and in particular your login information. Ensure that your username and password are the same as the ones used to login to the forums. This is also the same as the one used to login to your Planet Auran account.

When done make sure to save the settings. Exit the program and come back in. If this doesn't work, check your firewall to ensure that it allows the DLS and CMP to talk to each other. I can't supply details here on how to do this because each firewall product is different and the placement and wording of these settings are different.

I hope this gives you something to try. Let us know how this works for you so we can work this out for you.

I re-installed the game.. Entered my login info and saved etc.. the i opened the CMP again and it kept saying 'quieying ticket status' and 'searching for content' and then after a minute or so it froze. Now i cant seem to even get the Trainz menu to load (where you select play game or CMP etc.)

This can be caused by a corrupted database.

Try this and let us know what happens:

1) Close CMP (If it's open).

Go to the folders where Trainz is installed.

Look for Assets.tdx and delete it.

Restart Trainz and let us know what happens. Note the restart may take some time as the program rebuilds it's database.

Note: There is a slightly different way of doing this, but since this is a new install, I'll go with this method for now.

The restart seemed to work ok... I opened the CMP and tried downloaded something from the DLS. For the first time ever the file was downloading in the CMP!!!

but then...

I click in the little trainz icon in the CMP (to play game) and the game froze on the loading screen.

(also it didn't ask if i wanted to commit the changes as it normally does)


so close yet so far -.-

and i have to log off and back into my windows profile because i cant delete that file because it seems that 'it is already in use in another program'
and i seem to need to delete that for the whole thing to work again each time.

Have you installed the service packs as instructed by Auran?
CMP will be very dodgy without them.

now the game freezes on the start menu when i click 'Start' -.- I guess i'll need to re-install it again for the 4th time today.

Almost there is right. Try running the program now as an administrator and see if that helps. This may explain the windows profile issue.

You can always download from the web page by ftp. Go to the link above then select an item download page, download ftp and watch it arrive.

For TS2006 to load correctly you also need to disable you virus checker and your firewall because these have always corrupted TS2006, it' a big fault with this version, also depending on how old your copy of TRS2006 is will depend if you will need the upgrade or not, for this we need to know your build number!

hey everyone.,

I think i might have cracked it!!!

I've downloaded over 10 loco's now and (most) are working wonderfully!
