UK Teeside Branch Blog

I've finally decided to build the Teeside Branch as its a line I use almost every week and is in serious decline freight wise.
Its not going to be 100% accurate as it will be all on a flat. The stations will be build as they were in the 1950's - 1960's using old photos.
Thornaby Depot and round house will be added as well as the fiddle yard.
The old line in to Redcar Central will be used.
This will be an on going Blog that I shall update as much as possible, if your interested that is.

Good luck! I shall follow with interest. Heartbeat's route also covers the section from Middlesbrough.

I was just going to extend the heartbeat route from Middlesborough to Darlington.
But had second thoughts and decided to build my own with the parts that interest me the most. Bishop Auckland to Saltburn, Nunthorpe and Guisborough. And I'm going to include the old S&D route through the east of Darlington. And the Shildon to Newport line.
And eventually possibly the East Coast to Northallerton and Durham.

Yep it certainly is, but i've not had to much time to work on the route due to the summer.

Thanks for the info. I'm on huge learning curve as regarding the the signal's as i've only built routes using modern coloured lights to be honest.
