UK Southern Railway - 3rd Rail

Not being too familiar with the Southern Railway, can anybody steer me in the right direction for some motive power that would be appropriate in a pre-nationalization 660V 3rd Rail setting?

Thx in advance.

Colin.

There is Andi06's 5BEL (Brighton Belle) Pullman rake but that only ran from London Victoria to Brighton. I can't think of any other pre 1947 units available in Trainz unlike MSTS which has a whole selection. :(

Hi John - I have those units (and very nice too) but I was kind of expecting a power unit (say a Class 73) at the opposite end to the driving cab end. Do you happen to know what SR's practise was regarding the Brighton Belle when it came to running in the opposite direction?

Thx. Colin.

The driver just walked to the other end of the train, got in the other cab and drove the train away! It was an EMU (like a subway train), the only Pullman EMU in the world as far as I know.
