UK skirted full barrier level crossing

Hi, I am new to Trainz and have come to a problem and about to pull my hair out. Placed the crossing then attached the roads, cars run through the crossing but when a train approaches the crossing the traffic stops but the barriers remain up there are no crossing flashing lights. Have I missed something.

There are also some pre-built ATLS enabled crossings which also work. Without looking at the DLS, 'AHB' should give you a couple and the rest will come from there.

I raised this issue back in February and after some very constructive assistance replaced all my crossings with MCB/AHB’s as proposed by ‘pfx’ above. Bit of a chore but far more realistic as the barriers are actually down when a high speed train passes by placing the triggers at an appropriate distance.

Searching for my original post above I also spotted a separate interesting post from this morning, link below.

If it's of any use, I compiled a table of trigger placement distances that will ensure your crossing gates are down per UK prototype times. The metric conversion was done by alexflemming380 on the British Trains forum.
