Note, Pre BR Blue, why not have one that is Post BR Blue?

(That is an era from about 1967 to 1990 or so - where do the ones from Sectorisation to Privitisation put their screenshots?)

BR Blue or Large Logo is a bit restricting.

Or why not have a thread called "UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)" which covers ALL periods instead of a hundred different mini-threads which will disappear off the board through lack of interest?

I agree with what lewisner has said the problem is that the main UK thread has alot of modern traction. Now there is nothing wrong with this after all everyone has the right to do what they want in Trainz. But I know that because there is alot more modern traction, Steam age screen shots seem to be side lined with little or no interest from many people on the thread. The reason for the Pre BR blue was introduced was because me and some others where fed up of Modern Traction and we also wanted a place where British steam screenshots could be seen. I would like to point out to lewisner the Pre BR blue thread still appears and hasn't disappeared.

I guess because we're all modern age people(Well people born in the 80s and 90s, certainly shows my age @ 14.5 :P)

Well, to continue with this thread, we have a 06:00 express commuter collecting passengers at the fictional town of Lichfield, which have boarded the train. The train consists of a Class 73/1 with a considerably long rake of MKIs. Note the slow goods train slithering by platform 3. The station just got refurbished and the only thing left is to repaing the lamps. Unfortunately, this is the last BR Blue train to ride the line, and the Intercity trains have been repainted and overhauled.

How much is your fictional town of Lichfield based on the real Lichfield?

LOL... Pellet, probably not as LARGE as the real "City of Lichfield". Probably a Small to Medium sized suburban town/city. Its on a fictional line based on the "B'ham X City Route". Its nice for era flexibility from BR Blue to InterCity to Privatisation. More "upcoming" screenshots can be found in some other threads

Cheers for the interest,
Isaac

Why not consolidate it all in before 1997 and after 1997? Proper nice stuff in the first and all the cheap/photo reskins in the other? Sorry, couldn't resist.
Still; pre grouping, grouping and BR in one thread and TOCs in another? That'd keep the purists happy and people who don't live in thatched cottage with horse drawn carriage as well? (I actually do live in a cottage and have a horse drawn carriage, I also have an out house for you know whats and go fetch water in a well, the postman knocks on the door and has a chat everytime he comes with mail and steam trains pass the house and whistle :p)
