Hello all,I'm currently building a freelance shortline loosely based in South Dakota,USA.Thought I'll post some screens to show my progress and also give myself the motivation to finish and upload this project.I'm 3/4's Done in the town of Clinton which is the start of the line which will terminate 15 to 20 miles northwest of this location with a few stops on the way to service mainly grain silos and the odd small industry.Any comments would be much appreciated & welcomed as this hopefully my first DLS upload.Cheers Andrew:wave:

You may not be aware of the fact a damaging hail storm passed through South Dakato a couple of days ago leaving horrendous damage in its wake. If you want realism in your layout you will have to include sceanes depicting the hail damage to fields, automobiles, buildings and even people;)

Thanks guys,Mother nature can be a right bit#h sometimes:hehe: .here's something a bit more modern a eastbound BNSF Autorack train scorching though town on the main line running east to west.

The Track and Frogs look great...may I ask what those assets names or kuids are ?

You can open up the track image file and using cut copy paste, alter the spikes image down to only one spike, or eliminate all the spikes completely, and just have plain rail. I did this with VMD US Mainline track once, and it got rid of the european looking rail tie down bolts.

Took a spin on this sweet route....I do must say its one very detailed route....If you like hauling grain...Then this route will be for you....

We catch a lone CNW SD40-2 pulling some loads from the mill

Looking like a John Deere combine in the corn, the train pulls up grade up towards town

Coming into town

Keep up the good work on this great route :Y:

All for now
