TS2010 speedtrees gone?

I was just working on my route, tried to change the height of a tree and could not, so I proceeded to change the route layer to invisible and then back again, and all the speedtrees (pofigs) disappeared???? Anyone have this problem and a solution to it?

I could say exactly the same for those inferior billboard trees

TS2010 had this issue with Speed Treez. You need to exit Surveyor and go back in and your forest will reappear.
