TS2010 Install Problems

I'm not able to install because I keep getting a corrupted file error starting with builtin1.ja. This seems to be a media problem. I have gotten no response (other than automated e-mails after submitting the ticket) from the helpdesk. I've read through the forums and have yet to find any solutions. HELP!

If you have gone through the process of submitting a helpdesk ticket, then they will address it as soon as possible and you'll get an answer (I'm certain) shortly. You're not alone, in getting a bad copy of TRS2010, but helpdesk are most likely up to their eyebrows in tickets - so a little patience may be needed before they can address your individual ticket.

How patient do I need to be? I've been waiting since Jan 2nd.

It would appear to me, to be a faulty disk one, as has been mentioned in numerous posts by others. You've done the right thing, by lodging a helpdesk ticket, and I'm sure they'll get to it as soon as possible. There is (I hear) a significant backlog of tickets due to the helpdesk being manned for a limited period over christmas break, but they should get through them fairly swiftly.
