How do I import assets from TR2009 to TS2010?

To do what? Are you running as administrator, Below is a copy of my reply today.
Have just moved 1 from 2006-2010, try this.
Open cmp in 09 find route r/click, convert to cmp. send to desktop.
Open 2010 cmp, click file, import cdp, locate it on the next screen, click it and it's done.
Did you check the route for missing/faulty deps, it could be why it's not showing. when you log in to windows?
