TS2009 WBE

Hello all,

I'm running Trainz Simulator 2009 WBE, version 3 {38411}. My question is, can I download SP4 and install it right over my current copy V3{38411} or do I have to do each step one at a time?

Thanks in advance for any help regarding this...

Hi Wayne877,

Welcome to the forums.

With Trainz Simulator 2009, you must install each service pack in order, starting with your current build number. (For you that will be 38411 > 40040 > 41844 > 44653)

A warning though - you may need to update your DirectX in order to install the 40040 to 41844 patch.

Ok, so that would be; and so on, and so on. Until fully updataed then, correct?...

And I'm running Windows 7 so the DirectX is always updated...

Correct - 40040 is SP3,41844 is SP3,44653 is SP4. (SP=Service Pack)

Re DirectX - Windows does not keep it updated,you must update it yourself. See my sticky thread in this forum for details.

Oh ok, well thank you very much for the heads up on this. I think you where also the one who told me about the paypal thing. I thank you again, as I'm having a GREAT time with the trains... LOL ...

It's OK - just out of interest, how did the paypal thing go? I'm guessing it was sucessful.
