I purchased ts12 i love the graphics and the realisim. But apparantly i have and issue with the studdering .I mean it works fine when i am in roaming view but when i use side line view or any other it starts to studder when i am nearing a station starts to studder. I have the game on directx have all the levers down in the video surveyor and still. I also have game booster to shutdown other programs. I am working with

hewlet packard
AMD athlon(tm)2x 4 640 proccesor 3.00ghz
installed memory ram 4.00 gb(3.75gb) usable
system type 64-bit operating system
windows 7 home premium service pack 1

any suggestions thanks in advance...

so is there anyway i could adjust something to make it smoother

well turning down the detail setting and draw distance can get you better fps. By the way, anybody notice that now some words have a link to wiki? Must another one of auran updates on the forms here.

create a new session to compare, then

Try reducing the amount of types of locos and wagons, in towns where your main problem seems to be just have assets (houses and trees) by the trackside.
What you want to do is lesson the load on the graphics card and by having lots of the same houses for example does just that.
By having the original session and the new one you'll be able to tell what difference your changes make.
Sniper 297 has a sleep script for any wagons you have in sidings with no locos attached, try that.
Try and use assets only for 2009 and above.

Your intuition is right - it probably is the trees, because SpeedTrees are rendered in the GPU to lighten up the load for the main CPU. Unfortunately, as you have an integrated GPU, that doesn't really help you.

The suggestions the others game are sound but you're really going to have to get a separate graphics card if you really want to enjoy TS12. The good news is that you can get a decent one pretty cheap; the bad news is that, since your machine is an OEM (prebuilt) is probably has a minimal power supply so your options are probably going to be very limited.

For now, though, some other things like disconnecting your internet and shutting off any anti-virus and firewall might bump up your framerates some.

I was sitting here thinking the samething that i may need to just buckle down and get a very good graphics card any suggestions out there...

Your power supply is likely to be an issue, unless you're willing to replace that too. You'd have to post it's wattage rating and, even better, the amperage it puts out for each voltage (well, +12V is the most important.) There are some relatively "safe", low-power cards that can be used with a crappy PSU and are also fairly cheap and reasonably powerful, though.

I am not thinking that its the power supply because also when the trains roll bye it seems as if the doors are open but they are close and sometimes i can see thru the windows of the trains eventho they are tinted this computer i have is brand new. only other thing on here is trs 06 thats it. no other gaming i brought it especially just for trainz... i was jut thinking of deleting the trees. Itried it from station to station without the trees and it ran much smoother but still wanna change the video card ughhh they told me this would be the perfect system for ganmes of this sort. who knew..

I said earlier it's your video card. The problem is, video cards can draw so much power as to tax your power supply to the point it simply can't deliver what's demanded. Video cards draw a lot of power. That's why you need to check your PSU before blithely upgrading a video card. To some extent, that's true with anything but especially video cars because of the sheer amount of power they draw. Worse still is the fact that, having an OEM, your manufacturer probably used the minimum supply they could get away with with little or no regard for upgradeability.
