Hi all.

TS12 is screwing me over. Yet again.

This time its telling me that the session was saved but could not be committed to CMP. This would be the autosave failing. How would i fix this?!

Thanks!

Do you get a '?' markin one of the icons next to the session? If so, try an QDR (Quick Database Repair), I know it is a PITA, I sometimes get it to and that fixes it.

What drive and what directory do you have Trainz installed in?

Drive is the main hard drive (C:?)
Directory is the Program Files (x86)

This only recently began to occur.

Oh, and im not getting a question mark. Just a "session was saved but can not commit" message that randomly pops up in surveyor.

If it just began to occur, it may be due to installing windows security updates. "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86)" are "system" folders, and Windows will make changes to them, and their contents, without your knowledge or permission.

-The easiest remedy for this is to NOT install any ptograms in to those two folders, but instead directly to the C:\ drive, in their own directory; example: C:\Auran\TS2010

Check to make sure all your Trainz .exe files are still set to run as administrator, and the Security Permissions are all set to their most permissive state for all user entries.
-There are several .exe files in the "bin" folder, in addition to the Trainz.exe in the root folder, and IIRC, there is one other folder that contains an .exe file.

Do all of the Application Extensions have to be set to administrator? They are currently set to "Everyone"

EDIT: 500 Posts, V2. Nice!

On each .exe file:
Right click
> Properties
> "Compatability" Tab; at the bottom, check the box for "Run as Administrator"> Save
>>"Security" Tab; between top box and bottom box is a button labeled "Edit",
>>click "Edit"; in next pop-up; select each "user", in turn, and check the top left box for "Full Control"-"Allow"
--repeat for all users listed> Save> close> save again (if available)> close

<>Repeat for each. exe file in the Bin folder, as well as the Trainz.exe in the root folder
