Trainz members:

Recently installed the TRS22 product (Steam version) into my PC August 2024.
So far very impressed with the downloaded layouts that are shipped with the basic version build: 126295
Now with reference to the N3V Trainz Content Store page (clicked from TRS22 Main Launcher game tab):
Need some information about the TRS22- MPS Package that is already installed - What is this ?
Also what are these packages for:
goog:838
ios 838
MPS-Cross Platform

Also there is a Simc:sc491 (additional assets for TANE) package that can be installed into TRS22 ?

Need to know before one downloads them if they are important modifications to the running of the game.
Kind Regards
Mike Davies

Additional assets for Tane = Yes. These are required for some Tane assets you can't import from Tane but may be used by assets in TRS22.
DLC full list and the simc number can be found at https://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/Help:In-game_Downloading#Complete_DLC_Listing

Thanks members for the above replies.
I now realize that there is no PDF manual available for the (TRS 2022 with SP4) product however information can be found from various resources online.
So now we know that the TRS22 Multiplayer Surveyor is an option, however the standard offline Surveyor is default in the game - excellent.

I downloaded all the routes and sessions that come with the product, and updated any kuid dependencies available from the DLS using a FCT holders pass.
After downloading all the kuid updates there were no problems at all in Content Manager.

Now once again in the Steam version clicking the N3V Trainz Content Store page (clicked from TRS22 Main Launcher game tab):
These packages are shown and I have searched the internet online and cannot identify their purpose:
Steam:1030220
Steam:1030221
Steam:1030222
Steam:1030223
Steam:1030230
Steam:1030980
Steam:553620
Steam:620520
Steam:602350
Steam:938110
Steam:938120
These packages can be installed into TRS22 (possibly optional) because the game is working without them.

Any known info ?
The last resort would be to contact N3V or Steam help desk.

Hi Mike,

We met before on the Steam community forums regarding TRS22. :)
If you click on the Steam:xxxxxx number you should see a number xxxxxxxxxxxx_1234_x format, note down these 4 numbers as these are dlc numbers that can best help you locate what they are for Trainz

If that makes any sense, let us know what those numbers are and we all should be able to help you know what they all are (y)

Hi PhilChorusch01,

Went online and investigated.
On the Steam package double left click mouse or right click mouse brings up another window.
There is no picture shown of the unidentifiable assets (blanc) .
Installed packages do show a picture and a Simc:xxx code or Steam ID code.
Some assets have a description given in the right side of the window.
Clicking the "List Featured Assets" button in the window redirects to the TRS22 Content Manager listing the kuids of package.

Mystery packages:
The window shows the Status Purchased (installed or not or an update)
ID:
Steam: xxxxxxx (same code)
Version number of package. (blanc)
So there is no other information about the package.

I have now identified that Steam:564290, 602350, 553620, 663280 are actually updates for the TRS22 product.
Possibly they are assets that one has already updated from the DLS.

Back to square one.

Hi Mike, I also recently bought TRS22 in Steam and installed it, described it in detail here: https://forums.auran.com/threads/should-i-buy-trs19-or-jump-to-22.178241/post-2024144

EDIT: There is another one way to determine the Steam DLС via Steam ID.
For examle first in list Steam:1030220. Add a ID to this address: https://store.steampowered.com/app/
Get the link of the required DLC: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1030220

oldman77, grazlash,
Many thanks for this info about the Steam codes in the TRS22
Now we all know how to identify these codes.
One of them identified is Sebino Lake, Italy so now it is possible to transfer any purchased TRS2019 stuff into TRS22 SP4 (build 126295).
One also received a 30 day free FCT pass for fast downloads to update the TRS22 product.
There were over 790 kuid assets updated for TRS22 from the DLS very fast download.
No problems at all with the installed packages, now to test out the software and have fun.
