Water Problems... HELP DESPERATLY NEEDED!!!

After re-installing TRS2006 after recent troubles, the water in both surveyor and driver is invisible. I have tried everything. I have Windows Vista, and I have checked the posts on running the program as asministrator, and I know that there is not a problem with the graphics card or anything because before I re-installed TRS2006, there was water.

Please help.

Have you tried changing the water level. Try raising over where the water should be and it may appear.

Im not used to how 06 works but (still have 04) , there should be a configure trainz utility somewhere, on that there will be an option under the display settings tab to either use direct x or OpenGL, set it to direct x, that should work.

In 2006 Surveyor, click on the 'skeleton mode' button (top right) if the water is 'hiding' below ground level you should find it.

Thanks

Thanks for your help. I have not tried Direct X settings yet, so I will try that, but as for the water, it is there, just invisible. On the in-built routes, it is still invisible, and if you go under the water, it still shows the camera as being under the water. But the water is just invisible. I will try Direct X sttings, thanks for the help. More suggestions welcome!!

Then i have to change to direct x for driver etc otherwise there is no water....
ps. i have trs2004

What kind of video card do you have installed? I recall seeing something related to this with ATI cards, but I can't remember the fix offhand. Perhaps someone else can help.

I have the same problem. I use OpenGL (but have tried DirectX) with an Intel GFX card. in OpenGL I do not have water; in DirectX I don not have a mouse (this is true for more than one program).
