I have a digital download version of 2009 that I never installed or registered, but I have no need for a second copy of TS12...

Edit: After checking my downloads folder, I actually have (2) copies of TRS2009, both unused, never installed, never registered

I'd say 2006, but I won't go further for fear of starting a flamewar. ;)

If you look at my timeline you'll see I skipped TS2009 - and I did so for a good reason.

yes have heard the same regarding 2006 but cannot seem to find one was hoping someone on here would have one....one can hope....

Don't forget that you need the patch to bring TRS2006 up to SP1, without it the version was absolutely dreadful, and N3V don't have that patch on their page any more, and TRS2006 will be the next version to be abandoned, probably next year after TANE has been released.

if you have anything resembling a modern system you are probably better off with '009. '006 runs like a dog on up to date PC's whereas '009 has better optimisation and extra features. Your best bet in truth if you are looking for an older version is TS2010 as that has all the content from 006 + 009 + TC1 & TC2.

For what it might be worth, I have a couple of boxed not used TRS2006 laying around here...

With here I mean Norway, and editions I think is the Nordic one, there are English text on the back side, but also Nordic flags so I assume at least some of the stuff in there are non English...

Not much help maybe, but..

I have registered versions or 2006 and 2009 you can have free gratis but I am not sure how you would get around the key codes. Also - you can get both of these on eBay (new) for about £5 each.

Aye, there are a few TRS2006 versions kicking around both on e-bay and Amazon, however, I think they may be the Just Trains versions, and a few other developers, whereby, I think you needed to put the DVD disc into your computer/laptop every time you wanted to play the game, which was a bit of a bind, as our machines sometimes get very hot if you play for any great length of time, and the discs get warped if you 'aint careful, trust me, I'm speaking from experience......:hehe:

Personally, I'd skip 2006 and 2009, and go for 2010...longer service life to come before N3V sack it, and has the best "well rounded" setup...even compatability mode for REALLY old assets. (I even prefer it to TS12, truth be told)

TS2010

My recommendation!!! I personally wouldn't f_rt around with 06 or 09. I'd get TS2010. (I have them all, including 61388. I still spend 85% plus of my time in TS2010)...

Cheers, Mac...
