i got a new computer. i reloaded trs19. it wont open i get error renderer intialiaztion has failed. I look in logs. I delete and reinstalled it. wont open. I even checked my user name and password it say they mach. I have trainz 06 it works fine. what can I do to get trs19 working? thank you

The most obvious question I can think of here, since you mentioned "render initialisation failure", is does your new computer support DirectX 11 (or greater)?

The minimum specs for TRS 19 are:-

WINDOWS:
Operating System: Windows 7 64-Bit
Processor: Intel i5 3GHz 64Bit Processor
Memory: 4GB RAM
Graphics: 1GB VRam with DirectX 11 Support
Disk Space: 50GB Free Space
General: Win 8 and Win 10 also supported.
Requires an internet connection for online services.

You would be surprised how many people out there in the "real world" would not realise that. In my "career" as a technical IT support person I came across a few of them.

What kind of computer do you have?

Some laptops and ALL-in-One systems use a mobile chip while capable of running Windows 10, don't have the DX12 capabilities in their GPU chip themselves. It's this part that's needed in order to run TRS19.

You might need Directx 9 as well. This was a requirement in other versions of trainz.
