TRS19 Plus Question

Rail Tragic
Having recently purchased membership of TRS19+ there is something missing that I became a member for. That is the ability to paint [ballast] under a track spline. Unfortunately when I try this in the bulk asset replace tool it fails to work and instead posts a message explaining the replace/replace are different. i.e track placed in asset to replace and ballast placed in asset to replace with.
Bit disappointing seeing as this is one main reason for upgrading.

The build number I have is 105096 and in a video tutorial it was mentioned the build number being used is 106618. Does this mean the former build number does not have the facility to paint under a spline? And I need build 106618 and if so how do I get it?

Hope I explained this correctly.

Help appreciated.
Cheers,
Val.

Current plus build is 106618. Does your splash screen say "Trainz +" (with a plus sign)? Is your update stream on "Trainz Plus?"

Yes, the splash screen is as you mentioned. I created a folder on the E drive [E:\Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019\TRS19_content] this being the local data folder, and installed TRS19 to that folder and the update stream also points to it. Was that a mistake?

When checking for updates the message is 'there are no updates'. Something aint right huh, and its probably me.

The update should point to the [E:\Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019] part and not the data folder.

If you just downloaded, you should also be getting the current version anyway.

When TRS19 is installed it has two folders, one in the drive you asked it to install in and one in the C drive. Trainz/settings/install will show its location. The build folder in the C drive is the one to move to another drive and then redirect your path to it. It is this folder that trainz uses and builds its data base from. Once you have it working go to trainz/settings and select change trainz update stream. Click next and next then change stream to trainz plus beta.

An update to 106618 will create a new folder on your C drive so check your path again to your original build folder.

Thanks lads, consider the issue solved.
Slowly, with some help, becoming familiar with the complexities that trainz sometimes presents.
Cheers.
