TRS19 Basics

I have recently purchased TRS19 Platiinum and have downloaded ECML and Cornish Mainline and simply wanted to have a look at ithe ECML stretch between Peterborough and Doncaster. This was straight forward in TANE but I cannot work out how to do this in TRS19.
Any help would be appreciated.

When you say "have a look at" do you mean in Surveyor or Driver?

I have the ECML Edinburgh to Dundee and in Surveyor I simply press Ctrl + F to bring up the Finder window where I type in the name of a location (e.g. Dundee). This is the same as it was in TANE. Apart from that I am not sure what you mean.

I opened surveyor and pressed control + F, tried to enter Peterborough but it wasn't there. I looked at the mini map but there was only a section of the ECML map. If you say it operates in an identical way to TANE I will investigate further.

Ah yes, the ECML route that comes with TRS19 only covers Edinburgh to Dundee if I remember rightly. There is a Kings Cross to Edinburgh one by the same author (Napierdetic) but I think that is packaged with TRS22.

Kind regards,

Gary

Thanks Guys
On the included routes it said ECML Dundee, which I took to mean ECML to Dundee not just that section which isn’t really ECML but a small extension. At least I now know where the problem is.
I think it might be better to stick with TANE.

Once you get past the menu, Surveyor is pretty much the same with some extras and replacement and removal of buttons. The most useful feature I think is the UDS or Universal-Driver-Surveyor where you can easily test things by jumping between Surveyor and a quick-drive session. This is great for signal and level crossing testing.

What I do is use the filter at the top to set what I want to see such as My Content to view my routes only. This interface is still WIP and there are many things that need updating with it such as the default to purchased instead of the last filter used.

I was surprised to find that the full ECML was not included. For anybody who does not create routes there is not much improvement over TANE. Having said that I do not regret my purchase as it is nice to keep up with developments and at least I will be ready for Murchison 3 when it is released which Mike says won't be too long now.

You're welcome, Ken.

I thought the full ECML was included but guess not. I can't wait for Murchison 3 myself. I still enjoy Murchison 2 even with the screwy textures in TRS22. The textures went batty weird in TANE, so that's not a new thing but it's still a great route to drive after replacing the track, switches, and adjusting things.
