TRS 2010 not saving splines, tracks or objects?

Has anybody else encountered this problem,. I have Trainz 2010 with SP3 and it was working fine until yesterday. Now it is not saving the buildings, splines or tracks that I've added to the program since yesterday. All the old content is still there, but everything I added yesterday is gone. Everything I added today is gone on restart. The only thing remaining are the textures.

I'm pretty annoyed as this is hours of work completely lost.

Okay - think I've solved it.

For some reason Trainz was not launching with Administrative privileges, so when I saved it, it didn't bother to tell me it couldn't save.

I did a test by making "launcher" run as administrator and placed a building, exited and then restarted and the building is still there. So hopefully that is all it is

But......

It really annoys me that Trainz didn't install as administrator, I really shouldn't have to manually change it. Also, why doesn't trainz warn me on startup if it is not running as administrator - I have other programs that do just that and even refuse to start.

Think I'll work on another part of the route as I cannot stomach having to rebuild this section for a third time.

Thanks for this info, theres just 1 question on my mind now, how do i set it to admin so they objects dont go away? i spent 3hrs makin a track, highly detailed, saved and went to sleep. next day i got bak on and most, if not, all of the work was gone, i was pretty mad, but hey its a rather good game if u try to make it work..

how do i set it to admin so i dont get this problem again?
