trs 2006 downloads

Hi, its me again,
First,thanks bill for your help..
I have just started to really get into trs2006 and am having a few problems so please bear with me...
When I try to download an asset into trs2006 I get a message box saying "this link needs to be opened with an application" then I have to choose such..What do I do for this??

I have the program by Tafweb to change over downloads between 2004 and 2006..
Also whenever I use trs 2006 it tries to go to the download station when I dont want it to.Can I stop this or just put up with it?

You all will most likely hear more from me as I get deeper into trs2006 so be warned...

The CMP program in TRS2006 tries to keep your DLS list uptodate and can only do this by stayling connected to the DLS. If this gives you a problem when you start CMP just hit the ESC key.
