Trouble at the station!

What could be the problem when a (ai) train stops short of the station? I would like the train to stop so that the last car is at the platform.

Also, how do I add a picture of my layout so it shows with the description either in surveyor or in driver?

Are you using interactive stations with the load command? The use of track marks is less predictable for stopping the train in the right place.

To take a screen capture, press the PrtnScrn key. The file is found under the Program Files\Auran\TRS2009\Screen Shots folder.

To post a picture up here on the forums, you need to load them up to a picture sharing site such as Photobucket or ImageShack. You then post the link over to the forum for viewing.

When you are using the interactive stations you need to name the station and number the platform, you can also set the numbers of pasengers per hour.
If in surveyor open the industry tab and find Brick Station Small, this is an example of what you need. May not be what you want but you'll get the idea.

If you use a version before TRS2009, there is "AJS Car Stop Marker" available on the DLS. However, this doesn't seem to function in TRS2009.

Set a mark just after the station, drive to track mark.

Good idea, also be sure to check that your consist of coaches isn't longer than the station....after all pasengers can't board or exit if there's no platform for them to access or leave the train safely.
